Our Story
I have known Racheal for more than 20 years and have found her to be everything that exemplifies a leader. She always been willing to step forward when necessary to take charge and when required play the cheerleading role. She is self-aware, self-confidence, creative and has the ability to learn from her experiences.

Kim Magloire
Mum & Founder of SciTech Kids
Kim Magloire, the founder of SciTech Kids, has a passion and talent for nurturing young minds in STEAM. Through her curriculum, programs, professional development services, and speaking engagements, she spreads her philosophy that children can excel in STEM if taught using hands-on activities that capture their imagination.

An epidemiologist, Magloire created a chemistry video series in partnership with About.com, presented at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan, and hosted a TV segment on My Long Island TV about the physics of Amusement Parks. Recently, she was featured on Good Morning America for winning a $30,000 VISA award for successfully pivoting her business during the pandemic. Her students have also been winners at the 2014 White House Student Film Festival and other STEM contests.
Magloire has served as an adjunct professor at NYU POLY, on the advisory board of the Siemens Science Competition, and been profiled in various magazines including Crains NY and Black Enterprise. She is also the author of Electricity and Magnetism and six test prep books, including Cracking the AP Biology and Cracking Earth Science published by the Princeton Review.
Racheal Fosu

As a pig-tailed little girl playing basketball in Monrovia, never could Racheal have never imagined what her life would turn out to be. Racheal found her way from a little West African city to the big town of Jersey City where she finished High School as Valedictorian of her class at 16. It was then that she realized her intense love for Math. After surviving a civil war two years later, widowed at 42 and mom to two sons, she committed herself to seeing a dream of hers come true. Her dream of giving back to the community through STEAM education for children was born in Steam Mum. As a Technologist Mom Racheal has nurtured a love for technology in her sons. Her eldest son is now engrossed in digital multimedia editing and plans to launch his YouTube business soon. He youngest son is an experienced coder and works on school and independent technology projects.
Professionally, Racheal has brought her Information Technology Executive expertise to multi-billion-dollar powerhouses Broadridge Financial, the New York Stock Exchange and Accenture. She recently joined Silicon Valley start-up ConSol USA a technological consulting firm focused on bringing 3000 new, diverse technical candidates to corporate America in strategic roles by 2022.
Over her 25-year Technology career, Racheal has been inducted into the Rutgers African Alumni Hall of Fame, awarded Top Female Executive Designations and featured as an Inspirational Woman whilst obtaining her MBA at Oxford University, England; amongst other accomplishments.
